Will You Ever Be Denied?

Listen to this incredible story… that someone sent me today!

Back in the 1910’s, Glenn was a regular young kid living in Atlanta.

Every morning it was Glenn’s job to arrive at school early and light the pot-bellied coal stove used to keep the students warm in their small school.

Except, one day when he light the stove it exploded.

Someone accidently filled the container with gasoline instead of kerosine and the result was devastating.

The school was engulfed in flames and Glenn was badly burnt from the waist down.

It was bad.

The doctors said he wouldn’t make it…

…But Glenn survived.

However, he was confined to a wheelchair with no movement or control of his legs.

Then one day, in the garden in his wheelchair, he threw himself onto the lawn and crawled his way towards the white picket fence that bordered his property.

He dragged himself along the fence on the ground.

Day after day, Glenn he came outside to pull himself along that fence.

First, he crawled, then stood and finally walked, holding the fence for support.

Then, to everyone’s amazement, he walked again… on his own.

Over time, Glenn was able to walk and then even run.

He loved to run.

In college he joined the track and field team and ran competitively.

And in February 1934, he ran the mile in 4 minutes 6.8 seconds, setting the world record at the time.

Glenn, a boy that doctors thought would die, or the best be cripple, became a world champion runner.

Life is full of setbacks and challenges.

It’s not the circumstances you face in life that shape you but how you react to them that counts.

Glenn Cunningham never gave up.

He pushed forward in the face of uncertainty and doubt.

He fought the good fight… and he won.

You too might have challenging moments in your business.

It happens to most of us.

But…

If you persist…

If you stick to the plan…

And if you follow the steps…

…you’ll go far.

See you at the top,

Peace and Blessings,

Jared
